When deciding on a concept for a Visual Culture Christmas video this year, I delved back into my ideas notebook and reviewed previous Christmas videos we had produced – for both clients and my own business.
As I watched through, there were plenty of smiles reminiscing on the fun we had preparing and producing these videos and reflecting on the reactions from viewers.
And then the idea suddenly hit – why not create a “Christmas Showreel’ – a mix up of these specially themed videos. It does fit with a theme this year of repurposing video content.
I mean, who wouldn’t enjoy watching a dancing Santa, a sneaky Santa or a busted/busting Santa (that last one referring to a Christmas men’s health campaign).

We know that this Christmas will be very different for everyone around the world and I’m sure we could all do with a few smiles as 2020 draws to a close. We do hope you can spend time with loved ones, whether that be in-person or perhaps remotely via video call.
