Visual Culture has developed an ongoing production partnership with Aubrey and Areegra, a creative agency based in western Victoria.
Working across a diverse range of their client projects, we provide the filming, drone cinematography, editing and post-production expertise to bring their creative ideas to life.
From regional tourism campaigns and healthcare stories to community and business initiatives, our role is to work alongside the agency’s creative team and deliver video content that reflects their vision.
THE CLIENT BRIEF
Aubrey and Areegra work with a diverse range of regional organisations, each with different audiences, objectives and stories to tell.
With the agency managing the client relationships, creative concepts, scripts, mood boards and production briefs, they needed an experienced video production partner who could translate those ideas into high-quality finished content.
The projects varied considerably in style and purpose — from a short tourism promotion to a comprehensive healthcare overview and interview-led stories highlighting people, services and regional businesses.
The common requirement was a reliable production partner who could adapt to different creative treatments, work efficiently on location and collaborate closely with the agency throughout filming and post-production.
OUR APPROACH
Working from Aubrey and Areegra’s detailed creative briefs, Visual Culture provided the production crew, equipment, filming expertise and post-production services needed for each project.
Our work included location filming across regional Victoria, aerial drone cinematography, interviews, supporting footage and editing, with each production tailored to the agency’s creative direction.
For Horsham Tourism, we helped produce a short promotional film designed for a tourism competition and subsequently used on the tourism website. The production combined location footage, aerial cinematography and editing to showcase the region in an engaging, visually driven format.
For West Wimmera Health Service, we undertook approximately two days of filming to capture the people, facilities and services across the organisation. From that production, we helped create a comprehensive overview video alongside a series of shorter stories, including a doctor profile, a team member profile, support services and town health.
Interview-based storytelling was particularly important for this project. By carefully selecting and structuring interview content in the edit, we were able to build individual stories that felt natural, informative and engaging.
For Committee for Ballarat, we filmed interviews with representatives from local businesses and the organisation itself, bringing together different perspectives to help communicate the initiative’s story.
Across these and other projects, we worked collaboratively with Aubrey and Areegra’s creative director throughout post-production, shaping the edits to suit each project’s purpose, audience and creative treatment.
THE OUTCOME
The partnership has delivered a diverse collection of video content for Aubrey and Areegra’s clients, supporting tourism promotion, healthcare communications, community initiatives and regional business storytelling.
Each project required a different approach. Some relied on strong visuals, music and pacing, while others were built around interviews and the ability to find a clear, compelling story within the footage.
For West Wimmera Health Service, a coordinated filming schedule also allowed multiple videos to be created from the same production, making efficient use of the time spent on location.
More broadly, the work demonstrates the value of an ongoing creative agency production partnership.
With Aubrey and Areegra leading the strategy, creative development and client relationships, Visual Culture provides the practical production experience and post-production skills to help turn those ideas into finished videos.
Different clients. Different stories. One collaborative production partnership.
